About Artezen Built Troy's work background has mainly been in the construction industry from Byron Bay, Northern NSW to Rye on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Over the past fifteen years, Troy has gained manual work skills and has furthered his experience by studying Arts and Building at Chisholm Institute.
Troy's skills and style were honed and perfected during his years building high end custom built homes for DC Constructions (Master Builder of the Year 2006). From building homes that resemble floating grand pianos, to pieces exhibited at the Australian Centre for Contempary Art, Troy's functional art has been enjoyed in a variety of areas and lifestyles. During this time he was able to enhance his knowledge of carpentry and combine his years of studying art to develop the creative yet functional artpieces he creates today.
Troy has created his own unique pieces through a passion of arts and necessities around the home, and wants you to have the enjoyment he and his family have had with each piece created.
Unlike most, Troy prefers to use limited tools, steering away from large thicknessers and table saws allowing him to get more features from his work.
Artezen Built delivers a piece of handmade art that cannot be purchased in bulk item centres.
