Slab Wood Dining, and Boardroom Tables
Each Artezen Built piece has a unique story behind it and this will make conversations roll at all occasions. A variety of Australian slab woods and plantation grown / reclaimed hardwoods are used to give the strength and expansive size to accommodate the 6 - 14 seater dining / boardroom tables. All tables are handcrafted to perfection with the use of speciality tools, an artistic eye and quality timbers.
Stiffening supports for larger pieces are kept high to be hidden, allowing the floating illusion. Fixtures consist of West System epoxies. With enclosed biscuits laminating the dual timbers into a larger finished surface area. Lamination is kept in line with slab edges, and kiln-dried timbers support the table top. Finished with 400 grit sand paper, the bark is removed and finely sanded to give an overflowing edge. Dimensions of the featured dining table are 3600mm X 1200m x 35mm, catering for up to 14 people.
